For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life. John 3:15
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. John
6:54
My sheep hear My voice and I
know them, and they follow me. An I give them eternal
life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone
snatch them out of My hand. John
10:27-28
An this is the testimony;
that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His
Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have
the Son of God does not have life.
1 John 5:11-12
For the wages of sin is
death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus
our Lord. Romans 6:23
Privileges
and Blessings
Privileges and blessings are
given to all God's children. Christians love their
family and friends and want all loved ones to live
forever. The truth is that all humans beings will live
forever. The bible says that there is only one way to
the Father in heaven-that one way is Jesus Christ. The
gate is narrow and not everyone will spend their eternal
life in heaven.
Jesus Christ died and rose
from the dead for all to live with Him. Not everyone
will accept His sacrifice. Some people will not
believe and the theology is that anyone that does not accept
His sacrifice will go to the place of everlasting darkness
and fire--hell. The concept of hell is difficult to
comprehend especially if we might think our loved ones could
be sent to hell.
Christians have the responsibility
to clearly present the gospel to loved ones. Jesus Christ is
the judge and He knows what is in a person's heart. He
will judge with righteous judgment. Christian, trust
God to judge and do not attempt to determine if a loved one
has gone to heaven or hell. God only knows what
happened before the moment of death.
The bible says that hell is a place that
exists and that place was specifically created for Satan and
the demons. There are so many interpretations of the
bible on eternal life: Protestants believe in heaven
and hell, Catholics believe in purgatory, heaven and hell; some believe in an
eternal soul sleep; some do not believe in hell for human
beings at all. The truth stands as the truth and
Christians need to trust that God has it all under His
control. Peace of mind exists in trusting God for His mercy and righteousness.
