The Circus: Gambling
Vision:
I saw a circus. There were clowns jumping and acting silly, a ringmaster that commanded the crowds attention, all types of circus performers showing their tricks. The lion was in his cage--roaring at the audience. All the people were loving the show and the entertainment.
Come to the circus to see the clown. Come to the parade of gladness and sweet serenades.
The wheel of fortune is blasting to be heard. The clown is demanding to be noticed. The ringmaster shouts for you to enter into the land of fun and frolic. Spend a little money. Have fun. Have a drink. Have two drinks.
The circus invites everyone who will listen. Eat, drink and be merry and the circus will show you how. The clown laughs, the ringmaster speaks and the loin roars.
You are tempted to enter the circus and still try to remain in me. Watch the circus and you will not watch my will for you. Focus on Me. I am your deliverer. I am your strength. Watch your time as watchman watches for the morning.
The circus comes. You will not tarry in this darkness. You will step forward but not to the circus. It is mirage and fantasy. Stay out and look to the light of My Holy Word.
Remember, my child, the clown laughs, this ringmaster shouts, the Lion will devour all who watch and participate in the circus of clowns.
Know the Words of the Lord Your God. Do not behave in foolishness. Do not sin. There is no "little sin" . Do not think that you can engage in the circus for a little while; then you can return to me unblemished. Practice obedience to the Lord your God. Obedience to Me brings freedom. Do not enter the circus--not in your mind, not in heart.
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. 2 Tim 3:1-5
You have bought Me no sweet cane with money, Neither have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; Rather you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied me with your iniquities. Isaiah 43:14
